You cannot roleplay untill you have an accepted character!
Only Staff members can play as NPC’s or wild Pokemon that will benefit the character in some way. NPC's can be played by other players as long as the character will not gain any items, money or Pokemon.
No godmoding or powerplaying.
When posting in a role play board, stay in character. A few OoC (Out of Character) notes may be used when needed, but if things get too lengthy take it to the plots thread, pm, chat, whatever.
Learn to tell the difference between what YOU know, and what your character knows. You might have read up all about another character, their powers, Pokemon, history, but your character doesn’t know any of that. Don’t break the fourth wall!
Don't use asterisks to denote motion. If your character waves their hand, then type out “So ‘n so waved good bye”. Do NOT say “So ‘n so said good bye. *waves*”
Pokemon can remember all of the moves they have learned. No four move restriction.
Follow the proboards TOS.
Visit the boards in order. Starting at Start and going in order down the list (untill you get to the fork, they refer to the map if you are unsure). Back tracking will be required because of the way the continent is. When you have access to the move "FLY" you may then fly back to previously visited cities and just make a summary of what happened.
Don't self mod.
Please don't flame or spam.
Respect other people.
Use complete and proper sentences, unless your character can’t speak properly, in which case only their dialogue would be incorrect. Descriptive and action based sentence must be legible.
When replying to another post, make sure to carefully read what the player before you has posted. Try not to overlook details.
Don’t take a Role Play conversation personally. A player may have a character that is “stupid” or a jerk, but that doesn’t mean that the human behind the screen is dumb or hates you.
No making multiple accounts.
Post your teams' average level at the start of any wild Pokemon/Trainer battle. NPC levels in general are chosen from this information.
Don't hesitate to PM any of the staff members if you’ve got any questions.
