Post here if you want to suggest a new Element to be implemented into the game. You must include, the Element's name, the Element's strength (What it beats), the Element's weakness (What beats it), the type of spell it is most used for (Offensive, Defensive, Healing, Support), and which Races have access to it.
Beware of repeat Elements! If an Element sounds too similar to an existing one it will probably be denied.
Elements Name: What's it called? Good Against: What does it beat/work well with? Weakened By: What beats it? Type of Magic: Is it Offensive, Defensive, Support, or Healing? Who has access to it: Is it restricted to certain races, can anyone use it, or is there a race that can only use it (like how Piscodemons can only be water)

Ooo, neato.
Though as suggestion, since they are kinda similar, would it be possible to combine them into one Dream/Nightmare element? Like the Element of sleep or something? I'm bad with names.
Or mybe just Dreams, but you have control of both good and bad dreams.

You might be onto something, but I'd think that it would be more Cooperative with Earth instead of beating it. Do you have any back up ideas for what it could beat?

M'kay. So the final on Gravity will be
Elements Name: Gravity Good Against: Lighning. works well with Earth Weakened By: Wind Type of Magic: Offensive
One more thing since I added something I had forgotten. Are their any race restrictions on the element, or is there an existing race that you think should have access to it?

Elements Name: Voodoo Good Against: Nature, Light Weakened By: Holy, Light Type of Magic: Offensive + support Good partnered with* Shadow, Darkness
I do have a specific class to which this will be assigned to (counting on that they both get accepted), although it is also intended to Demons, and can be taught to humans.
*i believe there was a 'works well with' section in a few of them on the rules page.

What would be the requirements for the voodoo ability to work? For example, do you need an object of the target, know their name/what they look like or something like that. And what is the distance range do you have to be kinda close or can you harm people from the other side of the continent? Because just stabbing at a doll however you please is not good.
Why is it both weakened by light and good against light?
And yes there is a cooperative selection on some magic.

For the ability to work 1 must be within a several metres of the target. The straw doll takes form of the target pokemon, so it will be obvious who the target is. If you are a mystic (see my other sudgestion) you can self harm, and cause a similar damage to the target (be it pokemon or human).
Stabbing is just not what voodoo-ists may do to a doll. Other things include making motion sickness (confusion), suffocation, throwing the doll into a beehive (muwahaha) and more.
It is both weakened and good against light because it can cause and recieve high damage from light. Voodooists tend to be darker figures.

Okay, two things then, as long as only the owner of the doll will cause damage to the target (so if in my defense I burn the doll I will not burst into flames) and I just won't feel good if there isn't some other kinda of "must have something of the Target's" restriction on it either. Like a lock of hair or something they made or gives great value to. Just so that you can't be just hiding in the nearby bushes and be smashin someone up. ....Actually, now that I think about it, this seems to be getting dangerouosly close to the idea of controling another players' character...I know that a lot of people will get upset if you have a power that is able to throw them off a cliff...Yeah, suffocation is defiantly a no-go. demonswish.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=22

Hmmm... i see what you mean...
How about a limit where you can only damage the opponent with status affects (like burn, paralysis, freeze, confuzion) and the general stabbing - IE no physical controling.
And how about your target must lock eye contact with you...
Does that work?

I think for now, I'll put it on hold. When there are more members I can try a vote. I just have to be wary of people who will think to abuse the powers.

Yeah, ok =) whilst i'm at it, i'll take a crack at another element:
Elements Name: Insanity Good Against: Holy, Shadow Weakened By: Light Type of Magic: Offensive Who has access to it: Demons, Mystics (maybe), Humans Good partnered with Darkness
Insanity is basically an ability which can cause high damage, seeing as insanity can make a person misjudge whats over the top or not. It comes at a price, however, that confusion is much easier to obtain, and wrecklessness with attacks leaves the host exposed to other attacks.

That's more like a mental state. Doesn't seem like tangible magic to me. Sorry.
